• Thre is no required textbook. One of several Botany textbooks is recommended. Chapter numbers in the syllabus correspond with Botany - An Introduction to Plant Biology by James D. Mauseth, either the 4th Ed. (2008) or 5th Ed. (2013).

• The General Botany 2017 Laboratory Course Pack is required for the laboratory section.

• Prior coursework in Biology (BIOL1001 or 1009) is a prequisite for this course.
